Chatham Lighthouse
I would love to be able to explore Cape Cod from one end to the other...and eat seafood the entire way. There is one thing that keeps me from exploring. I can't stand traffic. To visit the Cape is to endure rediculous amounts of traffic. I did visit the cape in 2009 for a long weekend and decided that I needed to see a few things while there. One of the places that I visited was Chatham. I wanted to see this area because of the seal population, and the fact that Great White Sharks were seen there earlier in the year. I wasn't fortunate enough to see any sharks, but I did see a lot of seals, a great sunrise, and this lighthouse. What I really like about this photo is the light from the sun reflecting in the windows.
While I did end up dealing with traffic, I enjoyed my visit to the cape. I especially enjoyed the 1-pound lobster roll at The Raw Bar. If you like lobster, and you're on the Cape, make sure to visit one of their locations.
