Finally back

It's been quite awhile since I have written anything on the site.  I guess that's what happens when you have a new baby.  My wife and I became parents for the first time last November and it's quite the life adjustment.  No matter how much people tell you that a child will change your life, you really don't know until you experience parenthood for yourself.  I wouldn't change anything that has happened over the last 6+ months.  I haven't totally neglected my camera during that time either.  I probably have a thousand pictures of my daughter.  It doesn't hurt that she's a ham for the camera.  The only thing that I haven't done much of during that time is nature photography.  Slowly but surely I will be getting back out and can't wait until my daughter is old enough to join me on the trails.

As for photography related issues, I am hoping to take part in a couple of art fairs this summer.  The first that I'm hoping to be at is the Templeton Arts & Crafts Festival that takes place August 15-16, 2009 in Templeton, MA.  I haven't taken part in this show before so hopefully they'll allow me to take part.  The other show on my radar is stART on the Street 2009 in Worcester, MA.  The show is Sunday, September 20 from 11am-5pm.  I did take part in this show last year.  I didn't sell many photographs but it was definitely a learning experience and I'm looking forward to this year's show.
